2013 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Wydowna Spider as Webarella

Availability:
Wydowna will be sold exclusively at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con. There has been no announcement as to whether she will be available on MattyCollector.com afterwards.Interesting notes:
- Wydowna Spider was initially part of the 2011 SDCC fan-vote. Scarah Screams barely edged out the win and was made the following year.
- MattyCollector teased the Monster High Exclusive with the silhouette picture above, revealing her a few days later.
- Wydowna’s general pre-sale sold out within in minutes on MattyCollector.com.
- Wydowna’s pre-sale was limited to 6 per person, but there have been reports of people who were able to go back and purchase additional Wydowna’s.
- There is no announcement in terms of any additional limits that could be imposed at the convention.
I am LIVID she is the SDCC exclusive… means I won’t get her because of scalpers. Mattel’s handling of the MH exclusive last year was a cluster f’k… I’m not expecting any better.

I was just made aware of your awesome blog the other day… I love it! Thought I’d throw my hat in the ring and try to fix this “War Goddess” nonsense.
I have no idea who these ladies are… so for the Brunette I changed her top to be leather armor instead of that random metal chunk she was wearing. I realize leather armor is less effective than metal… but its not as useless as having 90% of your vital organs exposed. It bugged me how the harness of the shoulder armor looked completely impossible to keep it in place so I tweaked that to be more like a shoulder harness. I also removed the forced perspective “crotch gap” from her pants and attempted to fix the floating left arm problem.
For the Blonde… she obviously has no concern for her safety as she is not even trying to wear crappy boob armor. So I just tweaked her top so she’ll have less chance of popping out of it. I even let her keep her nipples, as lady nipples are nothing to be ashamed of! The most important change though… I hiked up those ridiculous pants. Seriously… WTF? And no more camel toe… *eye roll*
I don’t even know what is going on with that spaghetti noodle hair… that is a lost cause. lol!

Nicely done! Now they can move! (and even breathe! *gasp*) I love the details! It looks so much better.
I guess the only thing I would critique is that nipples are a bit awkwardly shaded, and I still feel like her “coat” thing should have a fix as well, because it’s so… awkwardly drawn, oddly placed and tight. But, this is still a very good fix! Good job. (:

Thanks! I really wanted to do something with that red jacket but it hurt my brain too much so I left it alone. LOL!
As for the nipples… I don’t think I have ever put nipples on my own artwork. So I blame lack of experience. I’m a nipple novice… >:D
